A fresh political dispute has erupted online after Kenneth Okonkwo criticised Peter Obi over his recent political moves.
Okonkwo Questions Obi
Okonkwo, who once campaigned alongside Obi during the 2023 presidential election, questioned the former Labour Party candidate’s movement across different political platforms within a short period.
He argued that such actions could weaken public confidence in Obi’s leadership ability and political strength.
Supporters React Online
As the remarks spread on social media, especially X, Obi’s supporters pushed back strongly and accused Okonkwo of inconsistency.
Many said he had no moral right to criticise Obi, noting that he had also switched political camps in the past.

Some supporters insisted they would continue to back the former Anambra State governor regardless of the platform he chooses.
Others referenced Okonkwo’s acting career, particularly his role in Living in Bondage, while criticising his comments.
Debate Intensifies
The disagreement quickly grew into a wider online debate.
Several critics accused Okonkwo of political opportunism and suggested his remarks revealed personal motives.
As both sides exchanged arguments, the discussion centred on loyalty, party defections and the broader realities of Nigerian politics.
Before fully transitioning into politics, Okonkwo gained national fame through his acting career, especially in Living in Bondage.
In recent years, he has remained active in political commentary and public affairs discussions.
