ABC Transport Plc more than doubled its pretax profit in 2025, earning ₦1.4 billion compared with ₦634.7 million in 2024.
According to the company’s unaudited financial statements for the year ending December 2025, strong operational performance drove the results.

ABC Transport Profit Surges In 2025
Revenue increased to ₦16.3 billion from ₦12.6 billion, mainly because loads and waybill services performed exceptionally well.
Revenue Growth Across Services
In addition, haulage operations contributed ₦4.8 billion, transport services added ₦3.2 billion, and vehicle spares sales brought in ₦2.3 billion.
Direct costs rose to ₦12.4 billion, up 24.88%, as the company expanded its operations.
Consequently, gross profit climbed to ₦3.8 billion from ₦2.6 billion the previous year.

Meanwhile, administrative expenses grew sharply to ₦2.7 billion, reflecting higher operating activity.
At the same time, other operating income, mainly from franchise operations, surged 35% to ₦602.4 million, further boosting earnings.
Other gains improved to ₦147.4 million, reversing the ₦261.9 million loss reported in 2024.
Additionally, the company reduced finance costs to ₦433.4 million, supporting the rise in pretax profit.
Strong Balance Sheet
After accounting for ₦539.3 million in income tax, ABC Transport reported a post-tax profit of ₦863.7 million.
The company strengthened its balance sheet as total assets reached ₦14.4 billion, with property, plant, and equipment accounting for ₦10.4 billion.
At the same time, shareholders’ equity more than doubled to ₦1.7 billion, turning a retained loss of ₦591.7 million in 2024 into a retained profit of ₦275.4 million.
Despite these results, ABC Transport’s shares remained flat in February, following a 27.32% gain in January 2026.
Overall, the performance demonstrates how diversified operations in waybills, haulage, and transport services drive both growth and stability.
