The filmmaker revealed the achievement in a celebratory Instagram post.

Also, he describes it as the first time a single Nollywood title and any African movie that has reached the 100 million views mark on YouTube under one continuous title.

Expressing pride in the feat, Ibrahim credited the success to dedication, consistency, and creative effort.

However, he acknowledged the support of his team, family, and fans.

History. Record. Legacy. Koleoso hits 100 million-plus views in total. Officially the first Nollywood title and the first African movie to achieve this milestone on YouTube as one title—one story, one movement,” he wrote.

The actor-producer emphasised that the accomplishment was the result of sustained hard work from the project’s inception.

He added that the record should be recognised as a landmark moment in Nollywood’s history.

I am proud of myself, proud of my team, and proud of my family. This is a strong fan base. My Koleoso family—you made this happen,” he said.

Ibrahim also described the milestone as a collective win for the cast and crew, Nollywood, Yoruba culture, and Nigeria at large.
