Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has etched his name deeper into global music history as his ‘I Told Them’ tour officially becomes the highest-grossing tour by an African artiste ever.

It sold 302,801 tickets across 22 shows in Europe and North America.

Beyond the tour’s overall success, Burna Boy also set another historic milestone by recording the highest-grossing single concert by an African artiste.
His London Stadium show on June 29, 2024, pulled in $6.147 million from 58,973 tickets.
This makes it the most lucrative African-led concert ever.
A breakdown of the tour’s earnings shows that North America accounted for $15.19 million from 152,378 tickets sold across 16 shows, while Europe contributed $15.27 million from 150,423 tickets sold in six shows.
Despite Burna Boy’s historic feat, the global record for the highest-grossing tour of all time remains with Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ Tour.
The america singer tour amassed over $2 billion from 149 shows across 21 months.
