Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has sparked widespread conversation after revealing for the first time that she has a six-year-old son.
The disclosure happened during her appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast, leaving many fans surprised.
Throughout the interview, Blessing became emotional at several points but firmly maintained that she is unapologetically living life on her own terms.
Nkechi Blessing addressed public criticisms about her body, personality and repeated accusations of undergoing plastic surgery.
“My mom’s name is Gloria. You think calling me the name of the woman… This is who I have been. Period.”
“I wear the clothes that make me feel comfortable. I’m not hiding from anybody,” she said.
The actress also admitted that she had previously kept parts of her personal life including her child private, but now feels no pressure to conceal anything.
She recounted an incident where she had someone arrested for leaking personal information.
“I don’t really come online. But of course I got her arrested,” she stated.
The standout moment of the podcast came when Blessing confirmed that her son is six years old and proceeded to call him live on the show.
“Is Elijah home? Put him on the phone, please,” she said, switching instantly into full mum-mode once he answered.
