Young Jonn Postpones ‘Blue Disco’ Album Amid Soaring Insecurity In Nigeria

Afrobeats star Young Jonn has announced the postponement of his much-anticipated album “Blue Disco” due to the escalating insecurity currently gripping Nigeria.

The producer-turned-singer revealed the decision in a statement on X.

He expresses disappointment over the painful realities facing the country.

Also, he described the current atmosphere as one filled with fear, grief, and uncertainty, stressing that both leaders and citizens must rise to confront the crisis.

According to him:
“It’s disheartening that Nigeria is still confronted with such overwhelming challenges. The insecurity has become unbearable, and it’s clear that both our leaders and we, the citizens, must do better—even as we pray for God’s strength to sustain us. Because of this, I’ve decided to postpone the release of my album ‘Blue Disco’ to a later date.”

The album originally set for 21 November 2025.

Also, it features heavyweight collaborations with Wizkid, Rema, Asake, and Olamide, heightening anticipation among fans.

While a new release date has not yet been announced, Young Jonn ended his message with a heartfelt prayer for Nigeria, saying:
