Nollywood actress Sonia Ogala has raised concerns about the mental and emotional state of her colleague Regina Daniels.
This follows reports that the actress has allegedly locked herself indoors and refused to open her door for anyone.
This comes amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the arrest and arraignment of Regina’s brother, Samuel Ojeogwu, popularly known as Sammy West, by the FCT Police Command.
In a passionate statement shared via Instagram, Sonia Ogala called out police authorities over claims that Sammy West had been granted bail, insisting that the information was false.
According to Ogala, Sammy never had legal representation during his arraignment and was not granted bail, as alleged in the police statement.
“You people should fear God. He did not have a lawyer. He was never granted bail. The magistrate disappeared,” she said.

Also, she questioned why Sammy West remained in custody despite the alleged bail condition.
Sonia Ogala’s emotional outburst followed the FCT Police Command’s earlier statement.
Also, this confirmed that Sammy was charged to court for offences.
This includes criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, and cyber-bullying.
Also, the statement also noted that he had been remanded pending the fulfilment of bail conditions.
However, Sonia refuted those claims.

Also, she stresses that Sammy was still behind bars and that the family had not been given fair legal access.
Meanwhile, multiple online sources claim that Regina Daniels, who has been at the centre of a publicised fallout with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has isolated herself since her brother’s arrest.
The actress has reportedly been emotionally distressed, with insiders revealing she has refused to communicate with anyone or step out of her home.
Sonia Ogala’s post has since sparked massive reactions from fans and fellow Nollywood stars.
Many expresses solidarity with Regina and demanding transparency from the authorities.
