Beauty entrepreneur Adeola Adeyemi, widely known as Diiadem, has publicly called out Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo over an alleged unpleasant encounter that occurred on a movie set around 2009/2010.
According to Diiadem, Biola Adebayo allegedly spoke to her in a rude and condescending manner.
She asked her to clean her shoes in a tone that left a lasting emotional scar.
“She was super nasty to me; it’s not even about cleaning someone’s shoes—it’s about how you talk to people. It costs nothing to treat people with kindness,” Diiadem recalled.
The beauty entrepreneur explained that seeing a recent post by Biola Adebayo about being unable to afford her colleagues’ expensive aso ebi triggered memories of the old incident.
Also, this, she said, prompted her to finally speak out for closure.
However, Diiadem expressed disappointment over Biola Adebayo’s reaction.
She claims the actress laughed at her comment on a popular Instagram blog instead of offering an apology.
“I saw that she laughed at my comment on InstaBlog. Everything is not about cruise. Sometimes, be accountable. If I were in her shoes, I’d reach out and apologise,” she stated.
Diiadem further stressed that her intention was not to seek attention but to address an old hurt and promote accountability within the industry.
“I don’t chase clout. I just wanted to speak my truth. What she did back then was wrong, and the least she could do now is take responsibility,” she concluded.

As of the time of writing, Biola Adebayo has not issued an official response regarding the allegations.
