Comedian, actor, and prophet Woli Arole has advised his followers to reject the growing trend of prioritising material wealth over emotional peace.
He refers to the popular saying, “I prefer to cry in a Lamborghini than smile in a Marwa.”

Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, the UK-based entertainer condemned the statement, describing it as “useless” and dangerous for anyone seeking true happiness.
“That saying, ‘I prefer to cry in a Lamborghini than smile in a Marwa,’ is a useless statement ooo,” Arole said. “Don’t say it with people ooo! Your cry in a Lambo can be for a lifetime ooo! Think twice.”
Woli Arole’s message emphasised that peace of mind and contentment should always outweigh the pursuit of luxury or societal validation.
Also, he urged young people to avoid being carried away by social media glamour and materialistic ideologies that promote wealth without emotional well-being.
The comedian is known for blending humour with spirituality.
