Red Star Express Plc achieved a remarkable Q2 2025 pretax profit of ₦371.2 million.
This figure nearly doubles last year’s ₦186.7 million, driven by strong revenue growth across all segments.

Moreover, quarterly turnover climbed 14.24% to ₦5.8 billion, pushing six-month revenue to ₦11.1 billion.
The courier segment led the performance, contributing ₦5.2 billion, while freight, logistics, and support followed closely.
Rising Profitability
Consequently, gross profit jumped 47.7% to ₦1.15 billion, and other income surged 281% to ₦76.3 million.

Although administrative costs rose 47.9%, the company still recorded an operating profit of ₦336.5 million, up 66.7%.
After tax, net profit reached ₦252.4 million, more than doubling the Q2 2024 figure.

Meanwhile, the company strengthened its balance sheet, with total assets reaching ₦10.4 billion and equity increasing to ₦5 billion.
Liabilities grew slightly to ₦5.4 billion, mainly due to creditors and accruals.
Investors responded positively, pushing shares to ₦11, a 149.43% year-to-date gain.
Overall, Red Star Express continues to expand revenue, increase profits, and inspire strong market confidence.
