UBA Partners For Clean Solar Energy Branch
UBA has partnered with Renewvia Solar Nigeria to power 25 branches using clean solar energy.
Moreover, UBA is expanding its project across five Nigerian states to cut carbon emissions and boost efficiency.
With support from Empower New Energy and Incremental Energy Solutions, UBA combines technology, investment, and vision.
First Phase Impact
In the first phase, UBA will generate 152,000 kilowatt-hours monthly, reducing over 89,000 kilograms of CO₂.

Furthermore, UBA signed a 10-year Power-as-a-Service agreement and will install solar and battery hybrid systems reliably.
Looking ahead, UBA plans to expand to 50 branches in 18 states, producing 3 MW peak solar energy.

Additionally, UBA deputy managing director Muyiwa Akinyemi emphasises that sustainability drives growth, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
