Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, has opened up about her breakup with her ex-boyfriend, Hakeem.
She reveals that their relationship ended just weeks before the show’s audition.
In a post-show interview with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Imisi described the breakup as “hectic,” while choosing not to disclose specific details about the cause of their separation.
Reflecting on that period, Imisi shared that she entered the BBNaija house emotionally broken and still processing the split.
Also, she explained that her ex-boyfriend had a major influence on her appearance and fashion choices.
“The Imisi you saw on social media was not really me,” she said.
“My dressing and style were influenced by my ex, Hakeem, because that’s what he liked. He liked when I wore makeup and frontals, so I did that to please him because he was my safe place. He liked girls who looked girly, and he was the only person I had at the time.”

According to her, the relationship ended on April 4, just a month before she auditioned for the reality show in May.
“It was a really hectic breakup,” she added, “and I didn’t have the time to heal before the show.”
