Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, has opened up about her shocking victory in the just-concluded edition of the reality show.
In an interview with Arise TV, Imisi admitted that she didn’t expect to win the show and was completely unprepared for the finale.
Also, she revealed that she even wore crocs to the stage because she felt uncomfortable wearing heels.
“Winning the reality show was shocking to me. Sincerely, I wasn’t expecting to win,” she said. “Before I got to the stage, I was tensed just hearing the crowd chant my name. I was shocked when I was announced the winner. I wore crocs to the stage because I’m not comfortable in heels. I didn’t even plan for the live show,” she added.
The reality star also spoke about dealing with anxiety moments before her name was called.
Also, she noted that the experience was overwhelming yet unforgettable.
Imisi defeated her closest competitor, Dede, by a wide margin to emerge the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10 on Sunday.

She officially received her grand prize of ₦150 million, which included ₦80 million cash and a brand-new Innoson SUV, during the prize presentation ceremony on Tuesday.
