Puerto Rican music superstar, Bad Bunny, has officially been announced as the headliner for the Super Bowl LX halftime show.
The NFL broke the news during the Sunday Night Football clash between the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers.

The announcement was shared by Bad Bunny, the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation
In a statement, the three-time Grammy winner expressed his excitement:
“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown. This is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”
Bad Bunny, whose full name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, recently released his latest album Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
The project incorporates history through “visualizers” created with the help of Jorell Meléndez-Badillo.
This is a history professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
These visuals highlight important moments in Puerto Rican history — from the origins of the island’s flag to women’s suffrage, the independence movement, and the cultural symbolism of the beloved coquí frogs.
