President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has likened the economic hardship Nigerians are experiencing to the pain of undergoing surgery,
The president assures citizens that the country is on the path to recovery and prosperity.

He stated this at the coronation of the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on Thursday, September 26
President Tinubu noted that his economic reforms, though tough on the people, will soon yield positive results.
“To many of you here present, today I am honoured and proud to share the cheering news that the economy has turned the corner. There is a bright light at the end of the tunnel,” Tinubu said.
He emphasised that the current hardship represents “the pain of a difficult but necessary economic surgery,” while assuring Nigerians that the outcome will bring growth and lasting prosperity.
