The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, held at UBS Arena in New York on Sunday, September 7, 2025 delivered a night of glitz, performances, and big wins.
Hosted by LL Cool J for the second year in a row, the star-studded event featured electrifying sets from Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Doja Cat, Sombr, Tate McRae, Post Malone, and more.
Lady Gaga emerged as the night’s biggest winner, securing four moonmen out of her 12 nominations, including Artiste of the Year, Best Art Direction, Best Direction, and Best Collaboration for Die With a Smile alongside Bruno Mars.
Ariana Grande followed closely, bagging Video of the Year and Best Pop for her hit Brighter Days Ahead.
Rising star Sabrina Carpenter also had a successful night, winning Pop Artiste of the Year, Best Album for Short n’ Sweet, and Best Visual Effects for Manchild.
