Afrobeats singer and entrepreneur, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has publicly declared his political ambition.
He stated that he hopes to become president in the near future.

The ‘Skin Tight’ hitmaker recently tied the knot with Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, made the revelation in a video shared via Snapchat.
According to him, he has been reflecting deeply on the idea of running for the presidency of an African country.
“I have been thinking about it, and I think it’s time to share it with you guys. Some of you might be from a country in Africa and are looking for a president—someone who isn’t chasing money or power but is young, forward-thinking, active, and capable of leading your nation better. So, I’m officially putting myself forward for the presidency,” he said.
Though Nigerian by birth, Mr Eazi shares strong ties with Ghana, where he studied and kickstarted his music career.
Also, he has often credited Ghana for shaping his unique Banku music sound.
The singer’s declaration adds him to the growing list of Nigerian celebrities who have openly expressed interest in politics, both in elective and appointive roles.
Earlier in 2025, actress Eniola Badmus revealed her ambition to run for Senate, while former lawmaker Ben Bruce once predicted that Davido could become the Governor of Osun State in the future.
