Head of the Austrian Bundesliga, Christian Ebenbauer, has said that up to 10,000 fans may be allowed to watch the Super Eagles’ friendlies against Tunisia and Algeria.

The first of those friendlies comes against Austria on October 9, before a date with Tunisia on the 13th.

The games will hold at the Jacques Lemans Arena, Austria.

25 players have already been invited by Nigerian coach, Gernot Rohr to feature in both games, with 24 of them based in Europe, and team captain – Ahmed Musa, the only Saudi-based addition.

“Football thrives on emotions, not only on the pitch but also on the stands. So it wasn’t an easy decision for clubs to take, to allow as many home fans as possible and to do without visiting clubs’ fans during the coronavirus restrictions,” Ebenbauer said in a statement.
