Over 30 million households, that is around 100 million people watched Usher’s performance this is five percent more than Rihanna’s performance in 2023.

Usher’s performance also had more viewers than Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, and 50 Cent’s performance in 2022. They had a million fewer households watching.

The Super Bowl itself was the most-watched in history, with 123.4 million people watching. It aired on CBS, Nickelodeon, and Paramount Plus. This audience is the second-largest for a TV broadcast, after the 1969 moon landing.

Taylor Swift is reportedly part of the viewing figures boom as she had been a frequent fixture at NFL games since she started dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and is being credited with bringing a different audience to the sport.
