Use Your Influence To Push For Progressive Leadership — Jandor Urges CAN

The Lagos State gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abdul-Azeez Adediran popularly known as Jandor has urged the Christain Association of Nigeria (CAN) to use their influence to push for progressive leadership in Lagos.

He said this in an Instagram post after meeting with the Lagos State chapter of the Association.

Janor and the PDP House of Representatives candidate for Eti-Osa Federal Constituency, Bankole Wellington known popular as Banky W, met with CAN executives to discuss their plans for the future with special regard to protecting religious freedom.

Jandor said, “I met with the Christian Association of Nigeria executives in Lagos. I was accompanied by Bankole Wellington, our PDP House of Representatives candidate for Eti-Osa Federal Constituency. Banky W as he is fondly known in entertainment circles, is a much-loved leader in the Christian community in Lagos, and his nomination is seen as a shift in the right direction.

“We went to discuss our plans for the future of Lagos and share with the representative our vision for the future of our great state as it regards the protection of religious freedom.

“l applauded CAN and other religious organisations for taking an active interest in the elections and encouraged them to use their influence to push for progressive leadership, so that we do not have a repeat of the unfortunate events that have defined the tenure of the present administration.

“l am reassured that this election cycle will defy all the stereotypes that have defined elections in the past and we will finally be ushered into an era of peace and economic prosperity for Lagosians.

“May our prayers to God turn for supplications for relief from injustice and manufactured poverty to thanksgiving for promises fulfilled,” he concluded.
