The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has advised all citizens to obey the law and contribute to Nigeria’s success and development.
He particularly asked his supporters and residents in general to be calm ahead of President-elect Bola Tinubu’s inauguration that will hold on Monday.
According to him, the court will determine the true winner of the vote in due course.
Obi declared on the sidelines of an event in Kaduna State that the country’s unity, peace, and security are more important than any other interest.
He urged all citizens to obey the law and contribute to the country’s success and development.
Obi said: “The most important thing for now is that we continue to live on the path of peace, religious harmony, ethnic harmony, and coexistence.

“Let us have a peaceful, quiet Nigeria where the government focuses on caring for the people’s sufferings.
“Citizens must be able to live peacefully as well as work and concentrate on addressing Nigeria’s difficulties.
“This includes insecurity, poverty, education, and other vital facets of the country’s survival”.
The Labour Party Presidential candidate, accompanied by his running mate, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, also asked the new administrations at all levels with dealing with issues of high youth unemployment, poverty, and insecurity, particularly in the Northern area.
He went on to say that such crucial issues must be addressed by elected officials if the country is to prosper and develop.
