TG Omori has provided an update on his health following a failed kidney transplant. On Friday, August 30, 2024, the Nigerian music video director took to the social media platform X to express gratitude and share details about his recovery process.
“Up and grateful, o Lord. (Sadly, I can’t backflip.) Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes, I’m healing now from the stitches of the failed one,” Omori wrote.
“I’ll continue the fight, been on it for the past year or two and I can’t back down now. Love y’all so much. Can’t wait to make new, crowded music videos for y’all.”

This update follows a series of posts from Omori, who had earlier announced that he received a kidney from his brother this month. However, he later revealed that the transplant was unsuccessful and asked for prayers.
“One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicholas, Lagos. Pray for me,” he shared in a previous post.
On August 28, 2024, Omori, who quit smoking in April, posted a photo on Instagram showing himself in a hospital bed with an oxygen mask, captioned, “Will be up soon. I promise!”
Omori’s updates have been met with an outpouring of support as he continues his battle to regain his health.
