There was little regard for social distancing and other COVID-19 prevention protocols as former Senator Buruji Kashamu was laid to rest today.
The former lawmaker was buried in his hometown of Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun state at about 1pm, with attendees struggling to get a good view of him before he was put in the ground.
Considering he had died of COVID-19, the health risks and dangers sympathisers exposed themselves to were more.

Among the attendees was Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun.
Kashamu died yesterday at the age of 62.
