The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) has distributed inputs to farmers in Imo State to boost their yield in the planting season.

The Ministry distributed seeds and seedlings today to the farmers in the state as part of its efforts to invest in them during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This comes on the back of distributions made to farmers in Cross-River State on Thursday.

Flagging off the exercise at the Heros Square, Minister of Agriculture, Alhaji Sabo Nanono said the Ministry was committed to transforming agriculture by providing farmers with good seeds and seedlings.
