Skit Maker Sabinus Thankful As Father Regains Freedom From Kidnappers Den

Skit maker Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Sabinus, recently expressed heartfelt gratitude after his kidnapped father was released following the payment of a ransom.

Sabinus shared the news on his Instagram page.

Also, he did not disclose the amount paid for the amount.

In his post, Sabinus reflected on the bizarre reality that his kidnappers could watch his comedy videos and laugh while holding his father captive.

He expressed his relief and gratitude to God for providing the means to secure his father’s release,

He stated: “Kidnappers who kidnapped my father could still watch my video and laugh; life is like that. But we thank God for providing it; otherwise, I would have been so sorry. Thank you, Lord.”

The incident, which attracted significant online attention, occurred when Mr. Ejekwu was abducted by armed men between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm

He just returned to his home in Port Harcourt after a trip outside Rivers State.

According to reports, the local security team identified as Ospac, engaged in an exchange with the kidnappers.

This resulted in the tragic loss of one of its members.

Additionally, one of Mr. Ejekwu’s neighbors was struck by a stray bullet during the incident and has since been hospitalized.

Sabinus, who has always spoken fondly of his father, reacted days after his father’s release, expressing immense relief and gratitude for his father’s safe return.

The harrowing experience shows the ongoing security challenges in the region.
