Afrobeat artist, Seun Kuti, has urged African governments to impose a travel ban on UK Minister Kemi Badenoch.
Also, he wants African governments to ban her from visiting the continent.
Kemi Badenoch previously commented on her challenging upbringing in Nigeria.
She described the country as plagued by fear, insecurity, and corruption, a stance that has sparked controversy among Nigerian leaders, including Vice President Kashim Shettima.
During a recent Instagram live session, Seun Kuti accused Kemi Badenoch of disrespecting Africa and its ancestors.
Also, he referenced her controversial suggestion that African nations should compensate European powers for the colonial era.
He interpreted this as a disregard for the atrocities committed during colonisation.
Seun Kuti argued that such statements are not only offensive but also undermine the dignity of African nations and their histories.
He went further to state that Kemi Badenoch should be prohibited from stepping foot on African soil and, if she does, should face imprisonment for her remarks.
