President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, for a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, at the invitation of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
According to a statement from Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, President Tinubu will meet with President Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa upon arrival.
The two leaders will engage in discussions and sign agreements, with a focus on oil and gas as well as security cooperation.
Accompanying President Tinubu on the trip will be Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, along with other key members of his cabinet, who will participate in the signing of agreements and explore opportunities to strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
