NYSC: 4 Things Lagos Gov. Promised Outgoing Corps Members

The NYSC 2024 batch b, stream 1 of the Lagos orientation camp Iyanapaja, are filled with joy as Governor Sanwoolu visited them during their passing out ceremony.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a one-year mandatory program for Nigerian university graduates to serve their country.

To commemorate the graduating corps members, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu, who visited the Lagos NYSC camp, made some promises to celebrate their one-year service.

1. A sum of ₦5b for the construction of a new permanent site for Lagos NYSC Camp

2. A sum of ₦100,000 for each youth corps passing out today (to be delivered next week directly into their accounts next week).

3. Automatic employment into the Lagos Public Service for the best 100 Corpers after their service year (for this batch)

4. A 32-seater Hyundai Bus (delivered already today).
