Amidst the economic drama going on in Nigeria, the equities market has continued to enjoy a good form.

In latest trading figures, market capitalisation at the NGX rose by 0.19%.


NGX Trade

Investors at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX), continued to make gains on Tuesday, as the NGX All-Share Index hit a new all-time high, closing today at 70,613.6 basis points.


With market capitalisation rising by ₦‎86 billion to close at ₦‎38.798 trillion.

This means that investors have a reason to either smile or double their investment.

A total of 7,100 deals were carried out on Tuesday which is an improvement from what occurred the previous trading day which was 6,837 deals.

PZ gained 10.00% to close at ₦‎22.00
GLAXOSMITH: +9.93% to close at ₦‎14.95
DAARCOMM: +9.52% to close at ₦‎0.23
JAPAULGOLD: +9.35% to close at ₦‎1.39
INTBREW: +8.43% to close at ₦‎4.15

Losers Log

NNFM lost 10.00% to close at ₦‎18.00
TIP: -9.65% to close at ₦‎1.03
ROYALEX: -9.26% to close at ₦‎0.49
OMATEK: -8.77% to close at ₦‎0.52
ETERNA: -8.62% to close at ₦‎13.25

Most  Traded Stocks

In terms of volume, FBNH (+6.35%) led with 52.024 million units, followed by CHIPLC (-5.61%) with 49.526 million units, FIDELITYBK (+4.44%) with 42.020 million units, UBA (-0.24%) with 41.467 million units, and JAPAULGOLD (+9.35%) with 37.080 million unit.
