The highly anticipated Michael Jackson movie, simply titled “Michael,” is set to be released on April 18, 2025.
Lionsgate and Universal Pictures are collaborating on this biopic, which will chronicle the life of the King of Pop from his youth to his passing.
Jaafar Jackson, Michael’s nephew, has been cast in the lead role, portraying his uncle through his adult years.
The full cast has been unveiled, with Juliano Krue Valdi and Jaafar portraying the late pop icon, Jayden Harville and Jamal R. Henderson as Jermaine, Jaylen Lyndon Hunter and Tre Horton as Marlon, Judah Edwards and Rhyan Hill as Tito, and Nathaniel Logan McIntyre and Joseph David-Jones as Jackie.
Colman Domingo will play Joe Jackson, Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, and Miles Teller as John Branca.
The script, crafted by John Logan, promises an in-depth exploration of Jackson’s life, while Antoine Fuqua directs the cinematic journey.
