Kylian Mbappe has been savaged for supposed transfer demands made at PSG in 2022, with the Frenchman told he does not act like a “great player”.
The World Cup winner severed ties with Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2024 when reaching the end of his contract.
After several years of being linked with La Liga giants Real Madrid, Mbappe has become the latest ‘Galactico’ addition at Santiago Bernabeu.
It has, however, been reported by L’Equipe that Mbappe pushed for a way out of Parc des Princes two years ago after being left disappointed by recruitment business.
He is said to have wanted PSG to bring in Robert Lewandowski and Bernardo Silva, and welcomed interest from the Premier League as Liverpool supposedly put a €200 million (£169m/$222m) offer on the table.
Former France international and 1998 World Cup winner, Christophe Dugarry, has told Rothen s’enflamme of questionable behaviour from an apparent superstar:
“Mbappe, he almost signed for Liverpool because he didn’t have the players he wanted.
“He was promised Lewandowski and Silva, but since that didn’t happen, he was ready to leave for Liverpool.
“But what is that?
“But dude, are you a player, coach, sporting director, president?
“What are you? I’ve never seen that.
“I promise you, I’ve had the chance to play with great players, I’ve seen their behaviour, I’ve never seen guys do that.”

Mbappe was playing alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar in 2022, but saw PSG fail to bring their wait for elusive Champions League glory to a close.
He is now chasing down more major honours in Spain, having been handed a lucrative signing-on bonus when linking up with the Blancos.
