Mathas Olivera, a defender for Getafe, has landed in Rome for medicals with Napoli.
After Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the 24-year-old is the Partenopei’s second summer signing. He arrived at Villa Stuart in Rome a few minutes ago to begin his medical checks with Luciano Spalletti’s side ahead of a loan move from Getafe.
For €15 million, Napoli can make the player’s move permanent. Olivera is now having medical testing in Italy with his agent Pablo Boselli.
He will take over from Faouzi Ghoulam, who will depart the club at the conclusion of his contract in June and will compete with Mario Rui for a starting left-back slot in 2022-23.
