Mary J. Blige has revealed that she will be performing at the Lovers & Friends festival after all.
On Friday, Mary J. Blige was added back to the lineup for the Lovers & Friends festival. Her name was moved higher on the updated flier.
The controversy arose on Thursday, January 25, when the 53-year-old singer clearly stated she wouldn’t perform at the Lovers and Friends festival in Las Vegas in May, despite being listed.
Although billed alongside renowned artists like Lil Wayne, Nas, Ludacris, Nelly, and Snoop Dogg, Mary explained that she wasn’t scheduled due to a conflict with her own project.
She clarified that her inclusion was an error and mentioned her busy preparations for the Strength of a Woman Summit just a week later.
Expressing gratitude on her Instagram Story, Mary said, “I am beyond humbled by the response from all of you about the announcement of me on Lovers & Friends Festival”.
Mary conveyed excitement about seeing her fans in New York in a few short months.
