Skales Claims He Co-Wrote Hits For Wizkid During EME Days

In a recent appearance on the show Curiosity Made Me Ask, hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, Skales disclosed that he co-wrote tracks for Wizkid’s debut album, Super Star, including the bonus track “Wiz Party.”

He also acknowledged that Wizkid contributed to his work, writing the hit song “Mukulu” for him.

“Back in EME, we were a team, so we used to write songs for each other. I wrote songs for Wizkid.

He also wrote songs for me, too,” Skales stated. “He wrote ‘Mukulu’ for me, and I wrote his song ‘Wiz Party.’ As I said, EME was a collective, so we did teamwork.”

Wizkid and Skales were among the first artists signed to EME by R&B star and music executive Banky W in the early 2010s, helping to elevate both singers into the spotlight.

However, both artists eventually left the label following disagreements with Banky W.

In a past interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Banky W revealed that Wizkid was contractually obligated to release three albums under EME.
