What started as a statement is now earning Eze Ndigbo of Ajao Estate, Frederick Nwajagu, a court case bordering on terrorism.
The Lagos State Government filed the charge against Eze Ndigbo of Ajao Estate, with terrorism.
Nwajagu was arrested in April after making a video in which he threatened to invite members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to Lagos to protect the properties of Igbo residents.
Nwajagu was charged with nine counts in the high court.
The state government charged him with “attempts to do acts of terrorism, and attempts to finance an act of terrorism”.

The State Attorney General, Moyosore Onigbanjo, was represented in court by Jonathan Ogunsanya, a Deputy Director in the Ministry of Justice.
Furthermore, he informed the court that the Eze Ndigbo violated sections 403(2) and 12(c), 18, 21, 29, and 12(a) of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022.
