The security contractor who was being treated in the hospital died in the early hours of Monday.

The concert, by Afro-pop singer Asake, was cut short after a large number of people tried to force their way inside on Thursday night.

Her death follows that of 33-year-old Rebecca Ikumelo who passed away on Saturday.

A third woman is reportedly in critical condition.

The 21-year-old is currently receiving treatment in the hospital for injuries sustained during the crush at Asake’s show.

The Metropolitan Police said, “At this time we have established that the three women who were critically injured, including Rebecca Ikumelo and Gabrielle Hutchinson who have tragically died, were all in the foyer of the building.”

It added that detectives were “working hard to establish exactly what happened on Thursday night”, and described the investigation as “large and complex”.

Officers are currently reviewing CCTV, and phone footage, speaking to witnesses, and conducting forensic examinations.
