In the early hours of Monday, February 20, officers had come to the police station, reporting to duty as usual, not knowing there was a plan to rain mayhem on them.
It is the second time a police station is being attacked in Anambra Sate in days.
Ibrandtv gathered that the Monday attack left two policemen at the Awada Police Station in Onitsha, Anambra State, dead.
This comes less than 24 hours after six people were killed during an attack on 3-3 Police Divisional Headquarters, Nkwelle-Ezunaka in the state’s Oyi Local Government Area.
Friday’s attack on Ogidi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra left three police officers dead.

In the Monday attack, gunmen, carted away guns and ammunition before setting the station on fire.
