As the Ukraine-Russia war continues, international bodies including the EU are seeking ways to help Ukraine during these hard times.
Countries have also been supporting with war relief materials and weapons to battle Russia.
According to a report, the war has caused humanitarian, social and economic crises in Ukraine.
The war has also affected Ukraine’s sectors like power, transport, and food markets.

European Union leaders are set to meet in Brussels to deliberate on how to help the country.
Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, would join the leaders in the meeting and is also expected to visit the European Parliament on Thursday.
His trip to Brussels would be the first to the capital city since Russia started attacking the country.
Topics To Be Discussed
The Union will discuss the reconstruction of Ukraine and justice for war crimes committed.
Asylum applications will also be discussed at the meeting with Zelensky
According to reports, applications for asylum in Ukraine have increased by almost 50%.
Another four million people have reportedly also fled to the European Union from Ukraine as a result of the war.
With the increasing numbers, the EU deems it necessary to discuss the issue of irregular migration.
The EU would seek the implementation of stricter measures to prevent illegal migration insulting the use of EU-funded border fences.
In addition, there would be discussions on the state of the EU economy and how to improve the competitiveness of European industry.
Zelensky Visit To UK
President Zelensky visited the United Kingdom parliament on Wednesday and met with King Charles III. He also met with French President, Emmanuel Macron.

Soliciting for military aid, Zelensky said the aid would help protect Europe “against a regime which wants to destroy the freedom of Europe and be the authoritarian leader on our continent”.
In the same vein, the president while acknowledging concerns over the economic costs of the war, expressed his gratitude for bodies showing concern.
“I am very grateful to you all during this horrific year, the year of aggression of Russia, Europe became stronger,” he said.
Mr Zelensky has requested the EU leaders to become more proactive on sanctions against Russia, pressing for artillery guns, ammunition, long-range missiles and jet fighters for his military.
