Former Real Madrid defender Vinicius Tobias, who recently tattooed his baby daughter’s name on his arm has been hit with shocking news that he is not the biological father of the child.
The 20-year-old Brazilian right-back and his ex-wife, social media influencer Ingrid Lima, welcomed their daughter, Maite, on October 8.
To celebrate her birth, Tobias had the heartfelt phrase “Maite, I love you” inked on his arm.
This is a gesture that reflected his deep affection for the newborn.
However, the joy surrounding Maite’s arrival took a dramatic turn when Ingrid revealed in a statement that a DNA test had confirmed Tobias is not the biological father.
Speaking openly on social media, Ingrid explained that their relationship had been rocky during the time of Maite’s conception.
Both she and Tobias were involved with other people at different points in their on-and-off relationship.
Ingrid clarified the situation further in her post.
She stated: “I feel the need to address something that has been causing confusion and that, unfortunately, I have to explain publicly. Vinicius and I have not been together for some time”.
“During that period, we both had moved on with our lives, and Maite came along. We decided to do a DNA test, and the results confirmed that Maite is not Vinicius’ biological daughter.”

As of the time of this report, Vinicius Tobias has not made any public statement regarding the DNA results.
