Successor

De Zerbi joined Brighton as the successor to Graham Potter early in the 2022/23 season as the Englishman left for Chelsea.

The Italian was an immediate hit with the Seagulls as his side’s football had fans fawning over his managerial abilities.

However, in his first season, the Seagulls finished in sixth place in the Premier League.
