The allegations of missing field result sheets has generated reactions from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
It is just 9 am and it seems like the drama that will play out for a while to come has begun.
In Kogi State, as elections begin, allegations of malpractices are already being heard.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reacted to the allegations that some field result sheets are missing.
Earlier on, the guber candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Muritala Ajaka, had alleged that some field result sheets have gone missing.
The missing three field result sheets are those of polling units in Okenne, Okehi, and Adavi.
He alleged that those results had already been filled illegally by those who were plotting to rig the elections.
Ajaka had also put a call across to INEC, to speedily investigate the allegation and bring the truth to light.
Reacting, the commission thanked the SDP candidate and announced that a delegation had been sent to look into the allegation.
What does means is that, if you see something, you say something.
Don’t keep quiet and hope that things will take the right course. This allegation may be true and it may be false
But we will never know if an alarm is not raised for INEC to investigate it.
