After Bobrisky’s six-month jail term and confession to being a man, many people wondered which cell Bobrisky would be placed in the female cell or the male cell.
The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) has now responded, clarifying that Bobrisky will be incarcerated in the male cell of its custodial facility.
The NCoS made it clear that Bobrisky will be protected from any potential harm or harassment from sexual predators.
The NCoS spokesperson, as quoted by Leadership, he said;
“Since he admitted to being a male in court, then we have to abide by what was submitted in court.”
Concerns about Bobrisky’s safety have been raised due to his sexual orientation. However, prison officials have assured that they will make sure Bobrisky is safe from any possible harm.
“He shouldn’t worry about being sexually assaulted by other male inmates because our men can keep him safe,”
This decision ensures his safety and well-being during his time in prison.
