BLord: How VeryDarkMan Contributed To His Arrest

BLord, a Nigerian crypto billionaire with real name, Linus William Ifejika was arrested by the Abuja FCID over claims of fraud, terrorism, amongst others.

Although, the police claim that Nigerian self-acclaimed activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM) has no hand in BLord’s arrest, there have been a series of events that transpired between VDM and BLord before his arrest.

According to a tweet shared by Trending Explained on X, some months ago, users of BLord’s payment app made multiple complaints about their inability to access their funds on his payment app.

In response to these claims, Verydarkman intervened, called him out, and asked him to fix the app.

BLord Directs VDM To His Offices

However, BLord responded to VDM in pidgin, saying, “Verydarkman your papa, tell your mumu people wey dey complain make them enter our office for Asaba delta state, Edo benin city, Lekki Lagos,Wuse abuja, Awka anambra, GRA Port Harcourt.

“I go pay their transport, Nor be me and you go do all this one. I am too influential to drag with you, Office is widely open.”

Also, Trending Explained wrote, “The crypto Lord then told Mr. Jollof to announce that the reason user funds have been withheld is because BillPoint is short on staff.

“But, VDM said it was a lie, that if that was truly the case, we have very high unemployment in the country, why not hire people to do the job?

“Also, why is he not announcing this to his customers via the app, but going through Mr. Jollof?

“That was all we heard about the case. Both Blord and Mr. Jollof haven’t addressed the issue ever since. (This is what caused the beef between Blord & VDM & Mr Jollof)”

Now, the complaints from users kept growing, and VDM filed petitions to that effect to the Nigerian police.

It is unclear if VDM’s petitions led to his arrest or not.
