The 2024 People’s Choice Awards was held on Sunday night, February 18, 2024. Simu Liu, known for his role in Barbie, hosted the show in California.
Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig, won both Movie of the Year and Comedy Movie of the Year.
Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie, stars of Barbie, won Male and Female Movie Star of the Year. America Ferrera won Movie Performance of the Year.
On TV, Grey’s Anatomy won Show of the Year, while Only Murders in the Building won Comedy Series and The Last of Us won Drama Series.
Adam Sandler received the People’s Icon Award, presented by Jennifer Aniston.
In music, Taylor Swift won Female Artiste and Pop Artiste of the Year. Shakira won Female Latin Artiste of the Year, Nicki Minaj won Hip-Hop Artiste of the Year, and Beyoncé won R&B Artiste of the Year.
