Omoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has sent a message to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike concerning the planned nationwide protest set to start on August 1.
As talks of the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria intensified, Wike had warned that the protest will not hold in Abuja.
To Wike, August 1 had been set aside for the chairmen of the six Area Councils of the FCT.
That day, they will give out certificates of recognition to their traditional rulers.
The Minister gave the warning while briefing journalists on the outcome of the FCT Security Council meeting in Abuja on Thursday.
