*Ratifies Ize-Iyamu’s candidacy
The National Executive Committee, NEC, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has dissolved the National Working Committee, NWC of the party.
This is also coming as the party on Thursday, ratified the candidacy of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as the APC’s standard-bearer in the September governorship election in Edo state.
The meeting which President Muhammadu Buhari presided over, also appointed the Yobe State Governor, Mai Malla Buni as the Chairman, Caretaker/Convention Committee.
The NEC also gave the Buni-led Caretaker/Convention Committee six months to organize the election of the National Working Committee, NEC, members.
Governor Buni, who was the former Secretary of the APC was sworn-in by the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.

Buhari also advised that all litigations in the party should stop.
Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu, disclosed this while briefing State House correspondents at the end of the Emergency NEC presided by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa.
