Alec Baldwin’s lawyers asked a New Mexico judge on Thursday, March 14, 2024, to drop a grand jury indictment against the actor for the accidental shooting of the cinematographer on the movie ‘Rust’ movie set.

They returned in January, accused Baldwin of involuntary manslaughter in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021.
In a new court document, his lawyers accused prosecutors of unfairly making things difficult for Baldwin during the grand jury process.
They said this took attention away from evidence and witnesses that could support Baldwin’s innocence.
