Funke Akindele’s funny movie, A Tribe Called Judah, made a lot of money at Nigerian movie theaters.
A report on Monday, February 19, 2024, said the movie earned ₦6 million from February 9 to 15, 2024. In total, it made ₦1.4 billion in Nigeria.
The movie has been showing for 10 weeks, since December 15, 2023. It’s the most successful Nigerian movie ever.
It also earned ₦144 million in the UK. The producers will soon reveal how much it earned in French-speaking countries.
But it’s not the most-watched Nigerian movie now. Another movie called The Silent Intruder is now the most watched. It made ₦16,536,700 in its first week.
Deyemi Okanlawon’s movie, All’s Fair in Love, is in fourth place. It made ₦10.4 million in its first week.
In seventh place, Meeting Funmi’s Parents earned ₦4.9 million last week. It has earned ₦29,510,385 in total.
