Music mogul, Don Jazzy, recently took to his Twitter page to share some valuable wisdom with aspiring artists looking to excel in the music industry.

In his tweet, he made reference to one of Nigeria’s biggest music artists, Davido, as an example of effective marketing.
Don Jazzy encouraged artists in general to learn from Davido’s approach to promoting his projects, emphasising the importance of strategic marketing in the music industry.
He tweeted;
Dear artists hope you can see how Davido is marketing his album. He didn’t form oh I’m OBO so everybody will cop my shit. Marketting your beautiful project that you worked hard on does not reduce your swag. 🤍🐘

Don Jazzy’s tweet was inspired by Davido’s successful album, “Timeless”, which has been setting streaming records since its release.
This includes being the highest charting album by an African artist on US Apple Music (peaking at No. 2).
