As health workers in the country continue to battle the raving Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Tuesday evening said that the total death toll in the country to the virus is now six.
The NCDC disclosed this on their Twitter handle.
“Sixteen new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria: 10 in Lagos, two in the FCT, two in Oyo, one in Delta and one in Katsina.
“As at 09:30 pm 7th April there are 254 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Fourty-four have been discharged with six deaths,” NCDC added.
